In the spirit of collaboration and shared mission, CEAP brings together its JEEPGY Partners, for a strategic planning session aimed at deepening and strengthening the organization’s advocacy efforts on April 30, 2025, at the CEAP National Office.
JEEPGY—Justice and Peace, Engaged Citizenship, Ecological Integrity, Poverty Reduction, Gender Equality, and Youth Empowerment—serves as a guiding framework for CEAP's social mission. Each of these pillars reflects a commitment to forming individuals and communities that are not only academically competent but also socially responsible and spiritually grounded.
The strategic meeting brought together a diverse and committed group of advocates. Among the present leaders were Mr. Miguel Karlo L. Abadines, Executive Director of Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan (SLB); Mr. Raul Socrates C. Banzuela, National Coordinator of Pambansang Kilusan ng mga Samahang Magsasaka (PAKISAMA); Mrs. Andrea Chaveli Dela Cerna, Assistant Principal for Formation at Xavier School; Dr. Dave Dela Cruz, OP, President of CASST; Dr. Joselito Gutierrez, Executive Assistant to the University President of Saint Louis University; Ms. Rizza Odra, Executive Director of Build Pilipinas; and Ms. Maria Catleya F. Ting-Garza, President of the LSGH Parents Association at La Salle Greenhills.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio, CEAP Executive Director, along with the Advocacy and Public Engagement (APE) Unit, Ms. Charina Claustro, APE Officer and Ms. Leslie Villanueva, APE Assistant.
The conversation focused on a better understanding of each stakeholder’s alignment and contributions to the JEEPGY pillars, also analyzing the challenges faced in advancing CEAP’s advocacies, with the goal of identifying meaningful, sustainable responses.
Another core component of the discussion is the exploration of how these advocacies can be further integrated into the curriculum and extended to other beneficiaries within the school communities.
Moreover, the session also discussed on how to support schools that are already engaged in advocacy programs, highlighting best practices and considering ways to scale these efforts, finding more ways on how more partners can be invited to join and actively support the JEEPGY movement, reinforcing the importance of consistency and long-term sustainability in all initiatives.
Following the meeting, the target programs include a series of special learning sessions focused on JEEPGY, media education, and the challenges faced by our partner farmers from PAKISAMA. These initiatives form part of our renewed commitment to strengthening CEAP’s advocacy work, culminating in a JEEPGY Caravan designed to provide an immersive experience into the realities faced by our students, teachers, and parents.
