More than 300 educators and school leaders attended the CEAP Special Learning Session No. 4 titled "Beyond the CORE: Understanding the Electives in the Strengthened SHS Curriculum," on May 6, 2025, Tuesday, via Zoom.
The webinar, in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd), featured Dr. Jerome T. Buenviaje, Assistant Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching, who provided a comprehensive overview of the newly designed electives under the Strengthened Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum.
The session proficiently equipped teachers, academic leaders, and administrators with the necessary insights and guidance to navigate the changes and ensured that students were better prepared for their academic and career paths.
With the transition to the new curriculum underway, this served as a timely discussion and a valuable opportunity to stay informed and aligned with the evolving goals of Philippine education.
