The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), expresses its support to the leadership of Secretary Sonny Angara at the Department of Education. In a remarkably short period, he has effectively addressed numerous challengesfacing the Philippine education system. Under his leadership, we have witnessed a leader who truly listens and has much to contribute to our government's efforts.
There is an urgent need for stability within the Department Of Education, especially in these challenging times. Education forms the bedrock of democracy, nurturing responsible and informed citizens. Therefore, it is crucial that the education sector remains insulated from political influences.
We hope President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. would find merit in the accomplishments of Sec. Angara and reinstate him as Secretary of Education.
