The CEAP-National Basic Education Commission successfully concluded its six-month training session. Last February, the commission launched the CEAP-NBEC Training Series that aims to equip instructional leaders, academic coordinators, and classroom teachers’ new knowledge and skills that will help them perform their duties and responsibilities as the backbone of education.
The training series was composed of 6 different modules with different topics. Moreover, the training series allowed participants to design and implement a comprehensive and flexible Authentic Learning and High-integrity Assessment Plan. By completing the training series, participants can secure CPD units equivalent to the total number of hours attended in the program. Lastly, educators who completed the series can earn credit units leading to a graduate degree in MA in Education or Major in Learning Management or Curriculum Design Development and Supervision.
The Teachers, Academic Coordinators, and School Leaders from CEAP member schools all over the country registered and joined the training series. They were instructed and facilitated by the NBEC team composed of Mr. Francis Jim B. Tuscano, Mr. Francis George V. Callilan, Mr. Christian Francis C. Prado, Mr. Maynard John E. Cornejo, Diosdado S. Vinluan Jr, and Ms. Shiella D.S. Habab. Dr. Dennis Prince Y. Germano led the team as they provide excellent learning to the country’s educators.
Sr. Felicitas V. Bernardo, SPC, proudly announced all the names of the participants who completed the six-module training. Their names were continuously flashed on the screen as other participants provided an online round of applause to show their support and happiness as they completed the training series. The ceremony was capped off with a closing remark from CEAP’s Executive Director, Mr. Jose Allan I. Arellano.
