February 20, 2025

The initial Steering Committee meeting for the 2025 CEAP National Convention took place on February 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the CEAP National Office. Representatives from member schools within the NCR attended to discuss key responsibilities and plans for the upcoming convention.

Themed "Living Synodality as Pilgrims of Hope," the 2025 CEAP National Convention is scheduled for September 30 to October 3, 2025, at SMX Manila.

The meeting commenced with a call to order, followed by a prayer. Then, Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ, CEAP President, greeted the attendees and set the tone for the meeting through a video message. Mr. Jose Allan I. Arellano, CEAP Executive Director, gave a brief historical background of the CEAP conventions, as well as the highlights of important conventions in CEAP history.

Participants introduced themselves alongside the National Secretariat before proceeding to a basic orientation on the 2025 CEAP National Convention. A review of previous conventions held in Manila (2022) and Davao (2024) offered insights for improvement.

Mr. Arellano presented the draft program for the convention and outlined the composition and functions of the CNC National Steering Committee. An open forum followed, allowing attendees to share suggestions and seek clarifications.

The meeting concluded with lunch and fellowship, fostering collaboration among participants as they prepare for the national event.

With the groundwork set, CEAP moves forward in organizing an inclusive and meaningful convention that reflects the spirit of Synodality and hope.
